IIRF Vision Ranking is considered prestigious and professional because of the yardstick employed for judging the suitability of the Institution for ranking. However, final ranking is decided on the basis of the authentic documents submitted in the survey or the evaluation of the data by the IIRF Research team. Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF 2022) has done an independent survey with the support of Maction Consultancy Company for assessing all the Deemed to be Universities of India.

IThis assessment was done in the parameters like placement performance, teaching, learning resources, pedagogy, research, industry integration, future orientation, external perception and international outlook. The parameter outcomes were evaluated by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and published in the special issue of Education Post magazine (www.theeducationpost.in/www.iirfranking.com).

The Deemed to be University category, DIAT (DU) in All India Ranking is 9th. The Assessment was also done based on specific criteria like technical orientation, research outcomes/ projects and in this category DIAT (DU) secured 7th position (All India Ranking) and second in Maharashtra. DIAT (DU) overall index core is only 2 marks less than IISC, Bangalore (AIR No 1).
