IEEE Pune AP/MTT/EMC Joint Chapter (JCAME) won first place in the 2024 IEEE AP-S Outstanding Chapter Award, given to Dr. K P Ray, Professor of DIAT and Co-Chair of JCAME, during the International Symposium & ITNC-USNC-URSI Radio Science Meeting, July 14–19, 2024, in Florence, Italy.

Piyush Sharma; Adepu Kumaraswamy and Mithilesh Kumar Dewangan’s paper “Lethality Analysis of SS 304 Spherical Fragments on 2mm thick Steel 1006 Target Plate” received the Best Paper award at the 22nd International Conference on “Recent Advances In Mechanical Engineering For Sustainable Development” (ISME-2024), which was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Delhi Technological University in collaboration with the Indian Society of Mechanical Engineers from July 11–13, 2024.

The paper titled “Addressing AI risks in Critical Infrastructure: Formalising the AI Incident Reporting Process” by Avinash Agarwal and Manisha J. Nene received ‘Best Papar Award’.
