Online Public Access Catalogue (Web OPAC)

The ICL purchased LibSys-10 Library Management Software. The LibSys Web OPAC provides first-hand information about the books’ availability and location, journals, and other documents in the library. It provides access to the resources within the campus through networked computer terminals. It allows searching the entire resources online, conveniently and quickly, using one or more search criteria, e.g., Author, Title, Publisher, Subject, Keyword, Accession Number. It also shows the current status, whether it is reserved, loaned out or available on the shelf, etc. The library is developing databases of Books, Back Volumes, Current Journals, Articles, Thesis/ Dissertations (Abstract & Full Text), Newspaper Clippings and University Repository, etc., providing all these library resources online.
