  1. Initiatives undertaken under the umbrella of NEP, 2020:
  • Establishing a Task Force for recommending measures for a time bound implementation of NEP, 2020 in the Institute.
  • Impressing upon the Post Graduate Committee (PGC) & Doctoral Research Committee (DRC) for aligning curricula with provisions of NEP, 2020.
  • Impressing upon all stake holders for publishing disclosures mandated by acts/rules.
  1. Best Practices of the Institution:
  • Institute Level awards – Individually given annually to the best performing teaching & non-teaching staff.
  • Awards for passing out students – Awarding Gold Medals to class toppers who surpass highest standards set by the Institute.
  • A Centre for Training & Placement (CTP) is set up for advancing industrial contacts for conducting development programs for faculty as well as students.
  • Programs & Courses are designed as outcome-based education (OBE).
  • Students are encouraged to pursue internships in outside educational establishment. Outside students are also permitted to take up internships in the Institute.
  • A functional Alumni Committee which connects with Institute alumni and undertakes various activities.
  • Students are encouraged to participate in external competitions.
  • Institute NSS Unit conducts various activities like Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan, Blood Donation Camps, Tree Plantation, Cleaning Drives in nearby villages, etc.
  • A functional ERP System. eSamarth System of the MHRD for Educational Establishments is being set up in the Institute.
