As the Dean of the student affairs, the role is to support the most valuable assets of the University: Students. Our goal is to maintain a student-centered environment. DIAT(DU) is specific in student-centric culture. Students are part of every decision making body of this University. They have been given representation in various committees. The job duties of a Dean of Student Affairs usually include supervising various campus programs and serving as a liaison between University administrators and students. Social programs managed through the office of the Dean of students might include orientation events for students. Dean of students also coordinates services that might handle discipline-related processes and procedures. The mandate of the Student Affairs Office is to coordinate and regulate all aspects of student life on the campus. Dean of Student Affairs has developed methodology like team teaching, continuously updated education, biography studies, value-added certificate courses, etc. These will ensure that you gain not only in-depth knowledge of your area but also a holistic set of skills that will equip you to face the real-world challenges.
