Registrar and Staff

In accordance with Statutes, Registrar is the custodian of the Institute records and other property the Institute. He is ex-officio secretary to the statutory bodies of the Institute such as Board of Governors and Academic Council. He is also the Appellate Authority for implementation of RTI Act in the Institute.

The Registrar Office consist of following sections; 1) General Administrative Section; 2) Estate and Works Office; 3) Transport Section ;4) Security Office; 5) Public Relations Office

Shri Kamal Kumar Bajre the current Registrar of the Institute has handled diverse areas of academic administration – Academics, Finance, Legal and General Administration. He has held senior leadership role as Registrar IIT Mandi and various administrative positions at IIT Bombay, Banaras Hindu University and CSR-NCL before joining as Registrar, Defence Institute of Advance Technology Pune, in 2022. As part of his role, Shri Bajre reports to the Vice Chancellor and is responsible for leading various administration activities of Registry, Materials Management, Hostels, compliance of statutory bodies, and liaising with Government Departments. He also leads functional areas of Human Resources (HR), Transport, Security, Campus Administration, Medical facilities, Liaison, Media, and Public Relation.
