Area’s of Research

Nanomaterials for Sensing applications.

  1. Using different nanomaterials following niche areas in sensing are explored:
  2. CBW and field Sensors: For weak electric and magnetic fields and sonar frequency detections bio-sensing, hazardous chemical moiety sensing for CBW diagnostics.
  3. Electromagnetic (em) sensors : coatings of novel material composites (magnetic materials and carbon materials composites) for em-shielding / stealth applications in radio frequency range.
  4. Metamaterial sensors: Patterned structures for rapid sensing and energy harvesting applications in radio-frequency range.
  5. Smart Materials for drug delivery : Development of medicinal patches for wound healing, sensing pH or temperature of wound site.
